Freur "Doot Doot" (1983)

CLOWNE WITHOUT CONDITION I become rave madly over this album, a mental condition, which, for the impartial listener, could be few to understand is difficult. It gives to expire very few artists, whom who've me enough intrigued, over and to purchase three singles and forced me then to receive to the album it all on appears, but that did certainly to Freur. Of, which first times I saw the screen for "Doot Doot", me by the view and the clay/tone one fascinated. The new romantic movement had been around for one while and Freur was certainly aligned with, but they seemed to offer more than ruffles. Dressed like Clowne without the condition, with Guitarren, which are described well as sticks of the Blackpool of rock (seriously, they were thin, red and white hoses!), the volume played a form of electronic whimsy, fought.against a shielding framework miasmic of the noises a gespenstischen, hallucinatory effect causing. Regarding the fact of singles ignored practically, surprises it that an album saw at all, which to light of the daily and I believed that it begins to run from steam while it gets ahead, but, before those, "Doot Doot", are "affairs of the heart", "going through", "tender distribution", "passenger in the night" and "topic of the film of the same name" large bang miniatures. I remain by this album rather proudly and protecting and also secretly pleased that the masses, cannot it a commercial success make. A precious, strange jewel. By the way vocalist Karl Hyde and keyboardist/programmer Rick Smith drove away to form for the seed electronica group Underworld.
